Free food is served to everyone
who visits the Tiruvannamalai ashram; an ashram that's run
completely by Brahmachari's. Hot and nutritious satvic food is
served 24 hours a day to more than a 1000 people.
During the recent Karthikai Deepam festival more than half a
million people visited the ashram and more than 60,000
people enjoyed the free meals that was cooked and served
by the ashram Brahmachari's.
In order to provide a better
service along with healthy hygienic food to the millions of
people who visit the ashram, a new mechanized kitchen with
steam boilers was installed recently. Following are some of
the pictures taken during the inaugural program which was
graced by the District collector.
